Dr. Thomas Cosgrove is a native of Birmingham, AL. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he studied both natural sciences and philosophy and was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. From 1986 until 1994, he served as a research associate in UAB's Department of Anesthesiology's Research Division where he coauthored two medical publications on oxygen free radical and antioxidant metabolism in vascular diseases. He then completed his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1995 at the University
of Alabama School of Dentistry.
Dr Cosgrove is an active member of the Birmingham District Dental Society, the Alabama Dental Association, the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the University of Alabama School of Dentistry's Alumni Association.
